Mountain Title Company employs 2 full time Title Officers. Together they have over 50 years of combined experience. One of our Title Officers has been working title for over 25 years in the Owens Valley and specializes in Inyo and Mono County title searches. We offer a variety of title services such as: 

Title Insurance

A search is performed for the subject property and a title insurance commitment is developed which identifies those items found in the real estate records that describe the property, who owns the property, as well as any requirements that must be met in order to issue a title insurance policy.

Property Information

If no insurance is required, our title office  can perform a search to identify the current information on the subject property.

Local Area Profile Report – Commercial

If you had an interest in a commercial property - buying, appraising, lending - you no doubt would be searching for critical data about the local area. Our information covers such diverse factors as population growth, professional characteristics, crime, etc.

Transaction History Report

The Transaction History Report provides details on current and historical sales and finance transactions. Sales transaction details include sale price, sale date, buyer and seller names, document number and title company.  Finance transaction details include mortgage recording date, loan type, loan amount, lender name and borrower vesting.
