Mountain Title Company opened its doors for business in
Bishop California in 1998 in a small office in Bishop's
historic "Pink Building" a small office located on Line
Street. Shortly thereafter, Mountain Title Company moved
it's operation to the
second floor of a commercial building on Main Street joining a small
group of companies providing title insurance to the
Owens Valley.
At the height of the computer age, Mountain Title
Company entered the title and escrow game with a
completely computerized operation. We are the first
title and escrow company in the Eastern Sierra to
operate within a local network of over 50 computers that
spans both Inyo and Mono counties. Mountain Title is a
pioneer in automation software, which reduces paper flow
and significantly improves the efficiency of electronic
document imaging and electronic recording.
We have included
an internal order tracking system and have instant access of county records
stored miles away at the county courthouses with the click of a
mouse. Mountain Title Company has over a decade of
valuable experience providing title service to residents and
the real estate industry in Inyo and Mono
counties. Our staff in Bishop is knowledgeable, experienced
